Mesut Özil spielte eine hervorragende WM und war eine Säule im Deutschen Spiel. Nun sollen einige Vereine interesse zeigen, zuletzt soll wohl der FC Barcelona angeklopft haben. Jedoch weiß Özil davon offenbar nichts:

Also wird das auch so stimmen.” Und betont draufhin in der “Bild am Sonntag”, dass er mindestens bis zu seinem Vertragsende 2011 an der Weser spielen wird: “Werder wünscht sich, dass ich den Vertrag erfülle. Also erfülle ich den Vertrag. (…) Das ist für mich selbstverständlich”
